When I work with people who suffer from depression I utilize two techniques to help people improve their ability to cope with depressive emotions, first I like to use Behavioral Techniques to help people to reduce their depression in the moment, secondly I like to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thoughts that may cause them to be depressed negative. CBT is know as the gold standard for treatment of depression. I also help improve your self-esteem and self-worth. Expand your social support network and reduced feelings of isolation. You & I work to increased your engagement in daily activities and improved your overall functioning.
